Sigature for WayBill and/or TransportationStatus #49

Closed DidrikN closed 1 year ago

Question raised by @PeterLBorresen.

Where On document level for all documents in the execution phase of logistics (Waybill, transportationStatus).

Why In logistics many documents needs to be signed at the handover of the logistics. This can replace the manual processes here, or can document usage of electronic signing means.

Comment Can be considered to be used in despatch advice as well.

We detirmed in work group meeting March 6th, that this is not applicable for TransportExecutionPlanRequest / TransportExecutionPlan.

Will revisit this when we get to Waybill and/or Transportation Status.

We have initiated developing Waybill, and signature has been addressed as something we need to discuss further.

From the discussion in WG:

From the Project group meeting at 12.04.23:

The project group has discussed and found out that there are differences between proceeding Waybill inn different countries. The project group agreed that signature shall be included in waybill, and that is should be optional and not mandatory. Also, the signature should be able to be repeated (Cardinality 0..n)

New information from Jorgen Hensgens:

"_It seems that it is suggested that the signature on the waybill is should not be mandatory. However, this makes the use of an electronic Waybill within road transport based on PEPPOL completely useless. The Waybill is bound to national and international laws and regulations. Especially internationally the waybill (CMR) is bound to the UN CMR convention as well as the eCMR protocol (regulations on using a digital CMR). You can find these regulations here:

https://treaties.un.org/pages/ViewDetails.aspx?src=TREATY&mtdsg_no=XI-B-11&chapter=11&clang=_en https://treaties.un.org/pages/ViewDetails.aspx?src=TREATY&mtdsg_no=XI-B-11-b&chapter=11&clang=_en

When we develop a Waybill based on PEPPOL we must adhere to this convention as well as the protocol. Hence the signature process and the way its setup is a key component in the solution._"

We will look at this in our next WG-meeting

Comment to mail from Jorgen Hensgens: this is dependent on the way of transporting (air, road etc.)

Suggestion: add a business rule that describes this

PeterLBorresen commented 1 year ago

Signature is 0..n as agreed.

PeterLBorresen commented 1 year ago

In Transportation status we agreed to have the signature on event.

agrindst commented 1 year ago

Signature is added to Transport Event, however it is still present under the overall Transportation Status.

We will include Signature on both places for this first internal review.
