Do we need a chat?

git is cool for creating things but comes with the cost of a high initial hurdle for many people - a possible way to address this issue might be to introduce a chat.

@SarahMimieux, Suggested to use discord and even offered her help with that -- To me that sounds like a suitable solution for now.
