BDRC has records for third-party volumes that are available in IIIF only, not on S3. There is some interest to also run OCR on these images, for instance https://library.bdrc.io/show/bdr:WEAP676-1-1 . That implies a few changes:
[ ] detecting that a volume is only available in iiif (this can be relatively easy but it needs to be done)
[ ] designing how the image references will be encoded in the pagination layer (I think we should only encode the IIIF endpoint, not the full URL)
[ ] create a system to download the images from a IIIF manifest
