Keyboard Lag on iOS: There is a noticeable delay when typing in the pop-up of the keyboard on iOS devices. Reduce this lag and ensure typing works smoothly with a single tap.

i think this thread might help solving this issue. its a IOS thing that it doesnt allow keyboard to pop up without user interaction on the screen. but there may be a workaround with above thread.
