CR011: Deactivate Sefaria features

Background

This milestone will be producing a MVP, so all the functionalities of Sefaria that either are not needed, or need consequent work before being shippable are hidden

Fully Deactivate Features

These are not relevant to Pecha.org and won't be needed in the future.

• [x] "I am a teacher" check button and text in Sign Up form

will be replaced by a dropdown with user profiles

• [x] built-in feedback tool (accessible in Resources)

Feedbucket is used instead, together with Crisp.

• [x] "share by email" (in Resources >> share)

the email era is over. No one has an email client installed on their machine in order to use the link.

• [x] adding a source in a sheet by typing the whole handle together with the chapter and segment numbers

It will only be a source of frustration because the slighest spelling mistake (lots of chars in every syllable) makes the whole thing unusable, on top of the user needing to also remember how to spell every sub-section until reaching the segment in complex texts. Add to that the fact no one will ever remember the chapter and verse/segment of texts. By opposition, everyone uses and remembers book name-chapter numbers-verse numbers of the Bible/Torah (in Sefaria).

Temporarily Hide Features

These will be reworked at a later date and reactivated

• [x] Export to Google Drive in Edit new sheet >> File menu item

• [x] Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

to be reactivated when the documents are created for Pecha.org.

• [x] Hebrew virtual keyboard (clickable icon in "search this text" in Resources and the search bar in the header)

To decide if it will be useful to keep after having replaced the Hebrew keys with special Tibetan characters (most probably not)

• [x] advanced tools (in Resources)

adding a new translation needs to be revamped, and the initial users won't be adding links (advanced feature), so hiding the whole thing.

• [x] "sponsor a day's learning" (on right: Topics >> open a topic)

Need to decide and come up with a fundraising strategy before showing something to the users

• [x] "compare text" in Resources

Until issue #47 is tackled, hide this feature from users.

• [x] empty entries in Buddhist tracker (in Profile >> Tracker)

implementation in Sefaria makes use of features of loggers such as the one in ElasticSearch, which is not currently not used in Pecha.org
