Have you installed the HPLIP plugin as the driver requires (mentioned in the name)?
IIRC some plugin models from HPLIP had problems with printing in the past, so then a driver from foo2* family helped, but maybe it was fixed in the meantime.
Either way, the issue is driver and model specific, not CUPS in general. I recommend contacting HP/HPLIP support for more help.
I added a printer to CPUS, but it cannot print. The printer does not work. The printer model is HP_LaserJet_P1007 and the driver is normal. After installing the printer on a WINDOWS computer, the printing error occurs, but I don't know why.
