Counterstrike and Aftermath The First Decade DVD with patch 1.02? #13816

Sorry I had posted on #13678 but I guess you didn't see it as the issue was closed.

The music files were included with the 1.02 patch. Anyway we can get it from there as part of an optional download? Or if you must, only allow The first decade dvd users to be allowed to download it (not really sure if such a limitation is necessary).

Sorry, it sounds like you have to install the music from the tfd install/patch by hand. (Copy all .aud files from the main "Red Alert" directory of the original install to Documents\OpenRA\Content\ra\v2\expand.)

I can do that, but there must be a way to automate the process by extracting the files from the patch?

JoshuaPettus commented 6 years ago

I just extracted the .exe and got tfd-102en -> RT_RCDATA-> and files 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146,147, 148, 149,150, 151,152, and 153 all appear to be the music files.

install the game first, and then do what abcdefg30 said.

JoshuaPettus commented 6 years ago

I understand that. I'm requesting for an automated system to pull the required music files from the patch automatically just as you do for the dune2000 patch.
