Veterancy for Defensive Buildings (Turrets). #6329

I think they should be veteran like in my RA2 mod (CnCD2k mod) or RA2:Mental Omega.

I agree, and have suggested this a few times in IRC. This will need some careful balancing in order to not break gameplay.

I think non-combat units should be able to gain veterancy just from doing whatever they do.

It would have the be a very subtle effect i think, then whats to say that your barracks and other buildings shouldn't have veteranacy. It essentially becomes like an uncontrollable upgrade system. Would also need new graphics for the veterancy level (different for buildings and inf) imo.

Nearly four years have passed without any significant demand for adding this as a gameplay mechanic. I think its reasonable to close this now.
