Not sure if this is a consequence of air speed changes (see #9469) but I noticed this in the most recent developer version:
You order a yak to land on an airfield:
a) when it approaches directly from the left, it lands as it should be
b) when it approaches from the sides it visually already "lands" before it reaches the airfield and "scratches" the ground until it really stands still:
