I’m pleased to learn the issue about the role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) you opened. The development of a country or region is focused on the undertaking of innovation activities. Simultaneously, it is necessary to protect the innovation including invention, copyright or other creativity. Therefore, according to the general theory, IPRs have a positive and significant effect on regional economic growth, and IPRs has thus become an important policy issue of regional development in most countries.
I also want to Introduce the OpenRead intellectual property protection system. In order to enhance research efficiency, accelerate scientific, technological, and humanitarian advancements, and reshape the landscape of knowledge discovery, we try to seamlessly integrating advanced AI tools into the research ecosystem. The product we designed, including the artificial intelligence algorithm model has high technical value and confidentiality attribute. We recognize to bring it into the scope of intellectual property system and we believe it can promote the opening and dissemination of relevant knowledge information and contribute to world relevant technological progress and industrial development. Therefore, we use comprehensive of diversified institutional tools including patent, copyright and trade secret to protect our intellectual property rights.
Except the protection of our IPRs, we also abide by the local law to protect others’ IPRs. For example, we make the OPENREAD TERMS OF USE to supervise our users to follow the CC license and the local copyright law in order to protect the paper authors’ copyrights.
