Session Name Vertex Cheerleading Introductory Sessions

Abstract Our sessions aim to prove to you that the gravity-defying stunts that you watch online/from performances are actually easier than they seem. Participants can expect to base/fly, gain new skills, and encounter satisfying and thrilling experiences unique to Cheerleading. Join us to defy gravity, no prior experience required!

Event Format Physical

Session intent (what to expect) Participants will learn the basics of group stunts and gymnastics. There are no prerequisites to this session, except for an open mind towards trying new things.

Session details Intended ground to hold event: Open Space between Buildings 1 and 2, outside GomGom Number of participants per session: 40 Timings: • Friday, 17 September 1500-1800hrs • Wednesday, 22 September 1500-1800hrs • Friday, 24 September 1500-1800hrs • Tuesday, 28 September 1800-2100hrs

Logistical details / Budget Needed $35/session for refreshments Breakdown: $14.70 x 2 = $29.40 for 48x325ml 100 Plus Cans (Prices based on FairPrice prices)

• Cans so that there is no sharing of drinks, that bottles would facilitate
• Garbage bags will be allocated so that there is no litter
• Extra cans can be kept for the next session, saving any costs if possible. Remaining sum would be aimed to getting Gong-Cha vouchers/drinks to reward the best participants for performing certain goals set ahead in time (any extra sum that DiscoverSUTD is willing to allocate for us is appreciated as well).

Could you kindly provide us with the budget breakdown? For instance how many refreshments, cost of each refreshment would you be getting?

Do note to keep the receipts as it would be required for claims in concur.

Hi @gnuppie Louis, just an update from our end that:

22 September, there will be a Mandatory PPP session for the freshies, so that afternoon session will not be supported.

We're still waiting on the budget approval. If it is approved, it will be based on the number of expected attendees. (More details will be shared eventually).

May I know the number of facilitators on the day of the event? Note that Total attendees = no. of facils + no. of participants Would be great if you could let me know by today.

Hey @gnuppie Also to update that your budget for the event (since it will be a total of 2 sessions on the 21st and 28th), the total budget will be 70 dollars.
