Abstract

An introduction of what our trainings are going to be like and also a sneak preview of what you will be doing in the future.

Session intent (what to expect)

The session will be a brief introduction to boxing. Participants will learn basic workouts we do in boxing, as well as boxing techniques and basic punches. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Session details

Venue : Dance Studio 8 15 September, Wednesday : 7-9pm 17 September, Friday : 7-9pm 22 September, Wednesday : 7-9pm 24 September, Friday : 7-9pm

What to bring: Hand Wraps, Sports attire, Water bottle. Boxing Gloves will be provided for the session, but you can bring them if you have. The session will be on a first come first serve basis and the availability is subjected to maximum capacity of Dance Studio 8.

Hello @jolow99, sorry I didn't see the comment earlier. We have been using DS8 every wednesdays and fridays from 7-9pm for the past trainings over the year so I think it should be okay to proceed with the plan.

Hi @oakar-00, just an update from our team:

1. 10 September falls out of the DiscoverSUTD calendar, so it will not be labelled under DiscoverSUTD. Fresmores will be involved in their respective orientation plans.

2. In any case, the venue (DS8) was not available to be booked on our end for the 10 Sep.

3. DS8 booking has been made for 15, 17, 22 and 24 September, 7-9pm.

Feel free to let us know if there's any clarification requried!

Please note that there is a Mandatory Hostel session on 15 Sept 8:00pm - 9:45 pm. This clash with your event 15 Sept 7:00pm- 9:00pm. Could I have the team let me know if you'll explore another date? Would be great if you could let me know by today.

As communicated on Telegram, This event will only be held on: 17 September, Friday : 7-9pm 22 September, Wednesday : 7-9pm 24 September, Friday : 7-9pm

Taking DS8 max cap 10, Total attendees = 8 + 2 facils (no actions required, just an update ! )

Hi @oakar-00 the sessions for:

17 and 24 Sep both fall on a Friday. Under DiscoverSUTD, all Friday sessions after 6pm will not be labelled under DiscoverSUTD (due to certain guidelines provided to our team).
