Hi @mingliang17 The funding is rejected as the cost is too high. The average funding required is around $100. Please repropose with a lower funding required thank you!

Hi @mingliang17 as discussed, unfortunately as the event is not held in sutd and the amount is too expensive per pax, student admin has decided to reject it. I am really sorry as we have tried to fight for you.

If there are anything we can do to help please let us know.

@ExtremelySunnyYK It's not approved right?

mingliang17 commented 3 years ago

Hello, are there any updates? @caramelmelmel @ExtremelySunnyYK

jolow99 commented 3 years ago

Dear @mingliang17,

Unfortunately, OSL has rejected your multiple proposals as they want to be fair to other Fifth Rows who did not get the chance to make changes to their proposals. We have tried our best to fight for your case, but as warned earlier about the budget being highly unlikely to be approved, OSL was not too pleased about it.

Additionally, our original deadline for event submissions was on 12 Aug and getting a venue for you would not be possible as well.

I would like to check if your team will still be conducting a Zoom intro session as well? Wishing your team all the best!

caramelmelmel commented 3 years ago

@mingliang17 (cc: @jolow99) have duly noted about this. Hence, this may not fall into our calendar

mingliang17 commented 3 years ago

Hi, thanks for replying. Think its better if we just manage the online session ourselves
