The first sketch
Abstract
Do you like art? Even if it's just simple drawing or painting? Then join our sketchers family where we urban sketch and create art! The session will introduce you to the world of urban sketching as well as have a live drawing session together!

Session intent (what to expect)
Participants will learn
the basics of urban sketching , what it is about, as well as the local community in Singapore.
a very brief introduction on the mediums available in creating art, their uses, and different art styles
There are no prerequisites to the session. It would be wonderful if they could bring friends along so they can do art together.
Session details
Venue: Think Tank 18 Date: 24th May 2019 (Friday) 7.30pm-9.30pm Things to bring: Art materials and sketchbook if they have. Materials will be provided so its alright if they do not have any supplies of their own.
Speakers/Workshop facilitators
SUTD Sketchers Exco members. Our excos are all artists that use different medium so we can cover a variety of it.
Logistical details We would like to present each participant with a water brush that cost slightly less than $5 depending on location. We are expecting a participation number of 12 so we hope to be given $60 to prepare this as a welcome gift.
