When using ExoPlayer the MiniClient is throwing exceptions when playing back MPEGs created by Silicon Dust OTA tuners, both Connect and Flex varieties. the behavior is usually stuttering or no playback at all. often ERROR_CODE_PARSING_CONTAINER_MALFORMED errors are observed before the app gives up.
Symptoms are slightly different depending on the apk being on an Amazon Firestick or Google TV w/Chromecast. At least playback is possible using IJKPlayer on the Chromecast.
When using OpenDCT as the alternative capture for the tuner as opposed to SD native output, the MPEGs are fine.
