Users in pending state #4

now she shows up so we should not have antone pending not from the start, yet today there were 6 new people all set to pending, can you fix that so I do not have to keep checking?

This may not be a bug if WP requires a user having the email address verified first. If a user doesn't check his/her account activation email, I think it's reasonable to let the account in pending state.

It seems OSF doesn't require verifying the email address because I receive the email "Welcome to Open Sangha Foundation!" immediately after finishing registration.

According to https://opensanghafoundation.org/newsite/wp-admin/admin.php?page=um_roles&tab=edit&id=subscriber, a user with the Subscribe role will get approved automatically after registration Screenshot_2024-02-02_13-47-22

So I just close this ticket.
