cant start an epiphany run

Preamble

• [X] I either downloaded the mod by subscribing on the Steam Workshop, or I am using the official Gamebanana mirror
• [X] I have checked that I am running the latest version of Epiphany
• [X] I am playing on v1.7.9b of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance
• [X] I have tried installing either the 'Mod Error Container' mod or Repentogon before filing this issue

What Happened?

when i press the epiphany door the run opens and doesn't show the menu. all i see is a blacked out isaac with a red question mark. how can i fixed this i redownloaded both Mod error container and epiphany and it didnt work i also verified integrity

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. run TBOI
2. press new game to go to character selection
3. select the red door thats right before the random selector
4. wait for game to load

1. Write down what mods you're using
2. Grab the latest few log files from your Documents folder
3. Attach the save file you use for Epiphany, found in the data folder of the game's folder
