Add a drop-down list of Keywords which help narrow down What do you want to do?/ What exactly is this useful for?
Rationale: It is not clear what a resource is for. It is clear from the small descriptions when hovering, but it may become unwieldy and overwhelming when we add more and more Resources. For instance, Select Open Code and Neuroimaging -> You get a bunch of Open Source Analysis packages, and some platform and software where you can share your code. These are very different things but can't be separated using the existing filters. Similarly for Open Data, it doesn't distinguish between Open Data sources to find data, Data Standards to organize (meta)data, and platform to share data.
Proposal: Maybe a list of broad Keywords that can help narrow down, such as: [Find, Share, Organize, Collaborate, Publish, Analyze, Collect, Pre-Register]. I feel like it could really make the search more efficient.
Downside: it may be a little award and not intuitive for some things (like Open Publishing). Ideally the list could change depending on the selected high-level filter, but this would get a little complicated, for now.
Add an Outreach/SciComm high-level filter button. There is no such thing yet, and this is quite an important part of Open Science.
Add an "Educational" high-level filter button to add things like Open Science MOOC, the Turing Way Handbook, and other great educational/training platform that spans the entire set of filters (Open data, Open code, Open ...)
