V4.2.3 - Incorrect operation after changing settings #152

Closed jones139 closed 5 months ago

jones139 commented 6 months ago

After changing from Garmin to Bluetooth data source, the app main screen flashes between OK and FAULT. This is a sign that the Garmin data source did not shut down properly and is still running at the same time as the bluetooth device (it is obvious because the watch ID on the screen also flashes between GarminSD and Infinitime.

It is resolved by doing a force-stop of OpenSeizureDetector and re-starting it.

I thought I had found all of these issues, but apparently not!

I think this should be fixed in V4.2.7 which is available as a binary release now and should be on Play store for beta testers tomorrow - you need to use the new BLE2 data source (the original Bluetooth Data Source is still available as a fall back) - I will remove the original Bluetooth Data source from the production release if we are happy with BLE2.
