Matteo I don't know how your sensor integrate in frequency, but for our part, so far we've been using a sensor that integrates over a fairly broad band. We measure the average power received over the 10.7 - 11.7 GHz and 11.7 - 12.75 GHz intervals. This can be important information (especially for satellites with only a few transponders, for which this type of measurement can lead to a low SNR in clear sky). If the integrated bandwidth is lower than 50 or 100 MHz, this information may not be critical.
