8 years ago It looks like this is colliding with OpenShot 1.4.3. Try removing OpenShot 1.4.3, and see if that solves the problem. Thanks!

Openshot did now install withouth a hitch and did start successfully from the menu. The need to uninstall OpenShot 1.x should be mentioned somewhere otherwise this may simply stop lots of people from even trying OpenShot 2.0.
Now I just need to know the terminal command to start it in order to get some better feedback when it fails. (it isn't openshot or openshot-qt)

I'll work on renaming some icons and launchers, so this no longer collides with OpenShot 1.x. Thanks!
Hi. Just installed openshot-qt from the PPA and got some interesting errors at the end.
Running this on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
