Split Clips/File is setting the wrong start and end frames #5638

Describe the bug:

I posted on the Reddit sub here.

I am trying to split an mp4 into multiple small clips. The first clip is saved with the correct frames, but every clip after that the frames are significantly off (by like at least a thousand). I have to close OpenShot and re-open it to get it to work again. But having to do that for every single clip is really not a functional workflow. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I currently have OpenShot-v3.2.1-release-12654-044bb224-23713d3a (Official) (would be great to have a Copy version info button on the About page).

The osp file, assets, and mp4 file are all on local disk.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

I closed OpenShot, downloaded and installed the latest daily, opened OpenShot by double-clicking on the osp file.

Right-click on the video file and selected Split File (I like the change from Clips to File here). I don't necessarily have every file split with sequential frames as the end and start between clips. I will skip over transition effects in the original, things like that. I always supply a numbered file name before clicking create, so I can both find the one I want and be assured they are being listed chronologically in the Project Files panel. Trying to split

Clip name Frames
01 elevator 713-925
02 in car 926-1036
03 driving 1164-1277

I took screenshots of the Split File window every step, showing the selected frame as I clicked the Start and End for each file. Then I took a screenshot showing the Project Files thumbnails, and already we can see they don't match either the Start or End frames that I had selected. Further going into the File Properties for each file the saved frames are as follows:

Clip name Frames
01 elevator 713-926
02 in car 1638-1749
03 driving 2801-2915

I uninstalled 3.2 and went to 3.1.1, and the Split Clips function is working correctly with that version.

Hello @jgeorgeson I have submitted this bug in the queue for the lead developer to review and work on a fix: https://trello.com/c/h6rsaUar/21-split-file-causes-loss-of-frames.
