on ~/Squeak6.0-22104-64bit-202206021410-Linux-x64 (with break point verifyCert: ) the match succeeds with both sides 'source.squeak.org'.
Both run on the same Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (GNU/Linux 5.15.90.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2 x86_64);
from dpkg -l => libxmlsec1-openssl:amd64 1.2.28-2; openssl:i386 1.1.1f-1ubuntu2.17;
I don't know how to test this with wget.
