Majority of core repos have licences, but info needs to be added to docs
Add support/recommendations for licence info for individual projects. Add guidelines for these, discussion of the issues/types of licence available.
Questions Are model codes a different kettle of fish than code?
Requirements Want to ensure attribution of models to original versions. In the case of OSB, much of the code is taken verbatim from ModelDB, and so should retain the licencing from there...
What others do: All models on BioModels are provided under the terms of the Creative Commons CC0 Public Domain Dedication (very permissive; do whatever you want with it) Many models on http://models.cellml.org/ are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License (permissive, but ensure you give attribution to the original version)
Favoured option (opinions from previous NML editors meeting) Creative Commons Attribution (PG, BM, EP, SC) See http://creativecommons.org/choose/ for more options…
