Hello

I am trying to communicate with the controller through a uart to usb cable. To my understanding, the white wire in the display cable is used to signal start up. What signal do I have to apply in order to start the controller when the display is disconnected? 5V?

I measure battery voltage on the white wire when i turn the display on. Is it safe to just connect the green wire (display power) to the white one to start up the controller?
