• What responsibilities do volunteers have?: Provide feedback to fellows new to open source and DevRel and ship a 30 second storyboard
• Who should participate?: Great for Hubbers across Revenue, Documentation, Enablement, DevRel, Solutions Engineering, and other storytellling roles
• Why participate?: Volunteer as a mentor. Earn 20$for Benevity donation credits for GitHub Gives!

Program Agenda

• 15 min overview by @blackgirlbytes and @LadyKerr

• 30-45 mins to review and provide feedback in breakout rooms with fellows. Proposed Conversation Flow:

  • Introduce yourself and background, ask fellow to do the same

  • Ask about what has been exciting to contribute to? (Potential topic)

  • Goal: create a 30 second story board. Here's a checklist:

    • [ ]  Intro hook or call-to-action happens in first 3 seconds
    • [ ]  Background audio or music (reels jingle, trend, or narration)
    • [ ]  Props or green screen usage
    • [ ]  Transitions between scenes in storyboard
    • [ ]  Dialogue or captions to provide context for what's happening in a scene
