Below are random notes from @mattodd that can be incorporated into minutes etc.
1) Next paper: we need to see whether there is any correlation between physicochemical parameters of the fenarimols and with their in vitro or in vivo potency. As a first step we should ensure that all the in vitro and in vivo biological data is up to date in the master list. For any compound with such data @bendndi could calculate the logD. We can later consider other parameters such as logP, including the various ways in which this is calculated. This is relevant to the first paper and Rosalyn Chan's thesis. In the short term we should remember that there is still the possibility of asking Epichem for more fenarimol analogues if we think that there is a physicochemical parameter value we have not explored well.
2) We are already assembling a manuscript - could someone please post the link?
3) It's essential that all MycetOS compounds are assigned MyOS compound numbers ASAP, for which we already have a system. @fantasy121 and @dmitrij176 can take charge of this.
4) There is some worry about the stability of the positive control compound HPD14-1. @kym834 will look to see if there is some stock in Sydney, which can be checked by NMR spectroscopy and then shipped to @Wilson-Lm . Otherwise it can be re-made. The stock at Epichem was kept as a solid. The sample in Wendy's lab is kept as a solution at 10 mM in DMSO at -20 and subjected to freeze-thaw cycles. @dmitrij176 to make up a sample (ideally of this compound, otherwise a different positive control that is representative of the series) in deuterated DMSO and treat it the same way, with periodic NMR spectra taken.
5) HPD12-1 is more lethal than control, potentially due to the Boc group? @kym834 may have this compound already deprotected.
6) @wwjvdsande mentioned tox data have been obtained - could these be added to the Master List?
7) @kym834 can't edit mycetos posts - @mattodd just fixed this. Anyone else with permission problems, let him know.
