Building a knowledge base in the open (source)

What began as an internal startup at Red Hat spun out as Corilla, a collaborative documentation tool for software teams. As part of our efforts to refocus on our roots of open source and community, we're starting to build a new knowledge base as an open source project.

I wrote about this recently in a blog post describing our journey, and the community response has been wonderful. If anyone is keen to hear about the journey from open source corporate to closed source startup to something in-between, I'd be happy to share what we've learned on the way.
