Task

We currently are drafting a how-to guide for recording stories. Join us in expanding the guide! Please contribute to the open draft in Google Docs.

The recording guide is intended for individual researchers recording stories, and librarians (or others interested) in

The guide should address:

Best practices in recording stories
Guiding questions for interviewers to prompt detailed responses from interviewees
Suggestions for hosting a successful recording event on campus or at a conference

What else should the guide include? Please suggest by adding sections to the document and/or comment on this issue to begin discussions.

I really like this project idea! Great job in drafting the recording guide, I just added some minor comments :)

Are you planning to include any procedures for giving consent before doing the recordings and for sharing the interviews?
