This issue is created to implement improvements in the following scope:

Simplify GameSetup detecting via automatically PC scanning.
Use a new config file based on JSON serialization instead of setup.conf.
Apply custom presets within a modcenter if those exist or else apply default mod presets.
Deprecate the old way of detecting installed mods based on mod content caching.
