Close popup on ESC or clicking outside #324

Fixes #323. I used the simple fix linked in the issue with some modifications. Tested on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari by seeing if each event worked or threw errors. Also tried opening a popup multiple times on the same page to avoid the event duplication issue from before
