Idea: Lock onto a surface and have the GUI as a fast paced avoidance game with coins and other shiny things to pick up.

For example, have levels where you need to lock onto the floor below you and have it work like a falling level, Others you lock onto the wall where you are shooting forward in warp, wipeout style. Others you need to aim at the ceiling and avoid objects falling on you. All to the beat of the music.

Tried out a bunch of music games on the Android app store today. What a load of crap in the top!!! Getting to the gameplay is chaos, most of the games clutter their UI with garbage to up-sell. When you get to the game they're a lame version of DDR without the fun aspect and boring music.

One interesting one was "Music Racer". Really amazing visual style but once you start playing it all falls apart. you select right-left which sometimes works, I totally don't get the feeling that I'm controlling the car. One interesting trick that "Music Racer" brings to the table is the ability to search and download music from Youtube. Too bad the Youtube API has since blocked usage like this so you're able to search and select a song but downloading runs forever, you can't abort it so you have to force close the app..

Next: "Tiles Hop" -> It's kind of fun. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amanotes.beathopper&hl=en_GB They key tricks they use are:

TapTap Reborn2 -> No..

Overall top discovery: Don't use - "GOOGLE PLAY GAME SERVICES" - I have yet to figure out what it adds for a gamer plus it pops up every time you load a game and when you don't have a signal it'll generally block you from playing the game. Fail..
