Having trouble entering a tree

[open-tree-tree-explorer[bot]]

Gosh, I still don't know what is am doing wrong and I feel like such an id. I am trying to paste in a tree for a new study I have added, Stearn 2011, and I keep getting this error message:

Conversion to NeXML failed. Error message: [Reading in.nex ] Executing Error: Expecting a tree description, but found "�PNG" instead

Here is what I am pasting in: (Pulchrilaminida,(Amphiporidae,(Rosenellidae,Labechiidae,Platiferostromatidae,Stylostromatidae,Aulaceratidae,Lophiostromatidae),(Clathrodictyidae,Actinodictyidae,Gerronostromatidae,Tienodictyidae,Anostylostromatidae,Atelodictyidae),(Actinostromatidae,Pseudolabechiidae,Actinostromellidae,Densastromatidae),(Stromatoporellidae,Trupetostromatidae,Idiostromatidae),(Stromatoporidae,Ferestromatoporidae,Syringostromellidae),(Coenostromatidae,Parallelostromatidae,Stachyoditidae)));

You were trying to import a PNG. That's not how it works. You need to use NeXML or another format instead.

The data seems like Newick.

I added the tree. It seemed like Newick, so I selected the Newick option.
