Nice. Is this to replace the table?

Minor: Normally when things are in time sequence they are placed left to right. So, I would have expected 'manual alignment' to be at the left, since it overrides everything else; then 'aligned to separation'; and only if those two fail do we try candidates and heuristics, the last case attempted temporally. -- but I can see how the layout would be worse that way, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Yes, this is meant to replace the table. I also thought about the ordering, but the layout does work nicely in its current form.
