The synonomy from IF: http://www.speciesfungorum.org/Names/SynSpecies.asp?RecordID=483212 is causing us to put that tip in Fungi in OTT3.0. See https://devtree.opentreeoflife.org/taxonomy/browse?id=326793
The synonomy was registered in OTT2.10. See https://tree.opentreeoflife.org/taxonomy/browse?id=4115007 but Dermocystidium salmonis was also a taxon in that version of OTT (in Ichthyosporea) see https://tree.opentreeoflife.org/taxonomy/browse?id=5653696
In OTT3.0, both ID 4115007 and 5653696 are forwarded to the fungal taxon 326793. This causes Fungi to be non-monophyletic when I build the synth tree using OTT3.0
I haven't had a lot of luck finding info on that species, but the genus is discussed here: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1754504813000329 and appears to be a valid Icthyosporean
