Open BigBlueHat opened 10 years ago
Meh...locking doesn't really do much when everyone's a collaborator. :smile_cat: Point was to put most of the conversations over on that repo...but whatevz.
OpenWorks shouldn't be a problem. I can put it on the calendar now if you'd like. The only catch is there's a chance we're in the 101 North Main building by late Feb, but I don't see why that would change anything about OW being able to host.
Awesome @allella! Thanks for the offer and the heads up.
@BigBlueHat It looks like that Saturday is actually the 21st of Feb. The repo and this thread say Sat 22nd.
Heh...looks like I didn't catch the date correctly off the (apparently out of date) http://opendataday.org/ site.
You are correct. The new date is the 21st of Feb
Officially on the list: http://wiki.opendataday.org/2015/City_Events#United_States (...well...it's a wiki, but...you know...)
I met one of the designers working on Esri's open data platform last month at blendconf. If greenville is an ESRI client we might be able to get an open data portal up before then - at least temporarily. Ill follow up and see whats possible. Esri is very supportive of opendata. It's not until February 22nd, 2015, but I thought I'd get a place up to discuss it sooner than later. [image: ]
