Meetup's Meetup #3

@OpenUpstate/greenville I'm interested in gathering everyone who's interested in running (or is running) tech meet-ups in the Upstate South Carolina area (or at the very least, Greenville), to discuss:

  1. for all of us to meet each other!
  2. how OpenUpstate can be of service
  3. what Greenville / the Upstate still need / want for tech community awesomeness
  4. whatever else we'd like to discuss :smile:

When (generally)? :coffee: or :beer: or :fork_and_knife: Where? When (specifically)? :calendar: -- depends on the first "When?"

@BigBlueHat Code for Greenville has a list of all the tech groups/meet-ups which could be found in Greenville. There are a couple Spartanburg options mixed in, but I'm pretty sure we don't have all the Spartanburg.

People are welcome to expand by adding groups in other areas of the Upstate. Though, the thought was to get an API going for Greenville so if we start adding things in the 10 Upstate counties then we'd probably want to add a County or City value to track that info.

@allella glad to hear that's still in the works! That spreadsheet is also super helpful. I'll try and ping folks from meet-ups are interested, and we'll see what's next. :smiley: Thanks!

Im interested. Weekends, m/w/f evenings are usually open. Also Week 4 of the month has the fewest overlaps with regular meetups last time I checked. On Oct 17, 2014 3:05 PM, "BigBlueHat" notifications@github.com wrote:
