Tag stable release #18

Many package managers require a Git repository to have at least one tagged release before they integrate it. Could we tag a release?

Hi @arputcu, team is so busy on AV1 release. Will fix this right after AV1 is ready.

With the insane performance increase of #48, is SVT-AV1 ready to publish a stable release?

@EwoutH you mean SVT-VP9, right? Internal validation resource needs to be allocated for doing the release. Will get back to you soon.
