As of February, Home Assistant supports conversation with its server using the Assist feature. I'd like to add an option to the VUI to do something like tell Home Assistant (|to|two|too){request} and pass that through to Home Assistant directly. This allows the ability to stay current with all intents Home Assistant offers, but does not replace the functionality in the PHAL plugin.
From the dashboard, this would likely end up being an input option using a keyboard (onscreen or connected), but GUI design isn't my strength so I'll leave that up to you. :)
