To make it work with a more recent version of mycroft i had to remove the passing of a watchdog argument for some of the subsystems. It seems it was removed from some of the main.py classes (?).
And though the skills subsystem still accepted the argument, for some reason the watchdog was being triggered nevertheless and it was restarting every 30s so I disabled it. Right now only the voice subsystem has it enabled.
With that it is stable on a RPI4 running Rasbian buster and Mycroft 21.2.0
