Invisible poltergeist in the Iron Wood with GL renderer #935

Describe the bug A flying poltergeist in the Iron Wood is not visible with GL renderer, both native GNU/Linux build and Windows under Wine 7.0. DX9 (R1) & DX11 renderers work fine.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Iron Wood
  2. Approach to helicopter

Expected behavior The flying poltergeist is visible.

The poltergeist only appeared for me as a ball of electricity.

now (using the latest build 615d98bcf8729cbb42a85c19d7e745e39edcde23) I can see the poltergeists, I don't know what changed it? I'm using an AMD vega10 (a laptop APU) maybe some change in Mesa drivers?

I've tried also a Nvidia RTX 2060 Super and they work too

I figured it out, under two thirds on the detail slide the poltergeist is totally invisible, this shouldn't happen!
