Hi @yorikvanhavre Just wanted to check in and see if you would still want to take on this scope of work? Let me know if interested or have time in the next couple weeks. Would like to submit for Permit in 3 weeks.

Thanks Much, Ryan

Hi Ryan, I'm sorry, I forgot a bit about this... The next 2 weeks will be fairly busy for me, and I'll be out of office the last week of the month... Would you be able to start working on it? I can catch up and help on the way if needed.

theoryshaw commented 9 years ago

No worries! That's why I asked. Figured you were getting busy. I'll make it work. Thanks.

Hi @bdmock

As we discussed, was finally able to separate out the Restrooms and Locker rooms.

The file is located here: Sports_Complex/Models/Proposal 2/Locker Rooms and Restrooms.rvt

You can do all your Revit Views in this file--enlarged plans, elevations, sections, etc.

Overall, the materiality approach should be very cost effective. This is a relatively bare bones, functional facility.

@kraut, please let me know if any of the above assumptions are incorrect.

@theoryshaw, Couple questions.

One is about the slope of some walls in the revit model. Is this intentional

lockeroom question 2

The other is about elevations. Will you be wanting elevations for the water closets or is there going to be a set for restrooms and so should I just label the typical stall types? restroom question 1

How do you want the shower tile walls to be detailed? They are currently set up to be MTL stud, Drywall, vapor barrier, tile. How detailed should this go? Wire mesh, bonding material, etc.

Is the floor that is in the master file the finish surface? I'm specifically wondering for the locker room section that is to be sealed concrete slab. Is the floor in the master file going to be topped with a concrete layer? floor

Thanks for the chat.

FYI...

Here's some preliminary details of the exterior walls. In particular there's one through the polycarboante that will apply to the locker room areas.

@bdmock Did you get pinged on the #47 issue?

Thanks.

I did.

Hey @theoryshaw

I've got the water closets and showers laid out for ADA. (Actually, I need to check the vertical bars).

I don't think the grab bars in non ADA showers are needed, but i have one along the back wall anyway.

In the ADA showers there needs to be a bar along the "back wall" which in this case is the polycarb wall. It looks like you've extended the solid wall into the shower areas. Can this wall be adjusted to run at least to the width of the bar that is along the polycarb wall (18" o.c. from shower head wall)?

I think it would be good to give these showers at least a bit of the translucent effect of the poly carb.

Another point, the entry to the shower has a toilet stall door swinging into it. I've marked some alternatives if this is an issue. polycarb wall and shower opening
