Cost Data of Various Wall/Roof Materials & Assemblies....

@dottkamm I called http://www.midlandplastics.com/ get pricing on the following products...

Will share it when i know.

Would imagine, we're going to be pretty hard pressed to beat out the economics of the metal panel wall construction you typically see with these types of buildings.

If we go with polycarbonate, any added premiums must be justified with returns in energy costs, via daylighting and solar gain. (ping @AnisGitHub)

Cool. That sounds good. I'll be interested to see the price difference. Do you want me to see if I can get pricing on a typical metal building wall for comparison? (Oops, I just realized that you already started on this on the other thread.)

I've been looking at RS Means a bit for how to put together preliminary estimates. I'd like to experiment with this project if it makes sense. I figure it can't hurt, plus I need some estimating hours.

@dottkamm Yes, if you scroll to the bottom of this document, you'll see I started pulling together pricing for various materials/assemblies.

Going forward, you can take over this task if you want. Perhaps you can organize the Revit Model with pricing attached to the various wall/roof types. Maybe we can do that after we start dialing into one design direction. We'll want to work with Toby (@kraut34) to align efforts on the estimating front.
