Resin Panel Wall

Here's how the composition of the Resin wall is shaping up...

• Wall assembly 1...
  • 1a - Resin Panel Wall
  • Stonewood Exterior Resin Panels oriented vertically with 1/4" open joints
    • thickness options: 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”
  • 162S125-33 (1-5/8" C stud w/ 1.25 flange by 33 mils - no punchouts allowed)
  • UV stable water resistant vapor permeable air barrier
  • 1" rigid mineral wood insulation
  • 7/8" Exterior grade, fire retardant plywood
    • oriented horizontally, fastened top and bottom (4ft+/-) O.C. to horizontal 'C' girts.
    • vertical studs are NOT planned at the 8ft edges of the sheathing.
  • 8" horizontal 'C' girts 4ft(+/-) O.C. w/ 3.5" tall legs.
  • 3/4" grade B interior plywood with Class B flame spread
    • oriented horizontally, fastened top and bottom (4ft+/-) O.C. to horizontal 'C' girts.
    • vertical studs are NOT planned at the 8ft edges of the sheathing.
    • Exposed Fasteners
  • 1b - Resin Panel at certain parapet conditions.
  • Stonewood Panel
  • 162S125-33 (1-5/8" C stud w/ 1.25 flange by 33 mils - no punchouts allowed)
  • horizontal galvanized girts attached to column stubs through metal roofing.

@kraut34 we had to push the exterior plywood up to 7/8 for rigidity. It was either that or go with 3/4" plywood with vertical coil straps every 24" between plywood.
