@theoryshaw An L1-1/2x1-1/2x1/4 will work. Tried scaling one of the details, and it looks like you were planning for an L2x2, so if you'd like to stick to with that size, and L2x2x1/4 will also work.

Thanks Kevin, what about the fastener approach? At both the z-girt and concrete?

Thanks.

KevinZinsmeister commented 9 years ago

Provide #12 grade 5 screws @ 24" oc to connect to the Z-girts. Provide 1/4" Hilti Kwik HUS-EZ w/ min embed=2-1/2" @ 24" oc w/ min concrete edge dist=1-1/2" to connect to the concrete frost wall.

Thanks Kevin!

@KevinZinsmeister If we don't directly support the alum profile directly to the gird, Foremost would like to use a L2xL2x14GA at this condition. Will that suffice, if so?

KevinZinsmeister commented 9 years ago

@theoryshaw an L2x2x14GA will not work; it does not have enough capacity to support the weight of the polycarbonate wall system. An L2x2x12GA will also not work.
