Standard sort order of courses on start-page could be a calculation of

Time since last change (Weight 5)
Featured (or even archived)
Total of changes in latest time n (and/or sum of intervals of last 5 changes)
Total amount of members (weight 1)
Length of description text
Total amount of description edits (Weight 2)
Total amount of passed events? (Weight 1)
