Existing modem software doesn't work with ubuntu core #1

Can't manage to install dependencies on ubuntu core other than a few snaps.

Also can't manage to use modem software.

Perhaps a demo of the loadout on core is needed otherwise we'll have to stick to LTS even though core has 10yrs support/updates - LTS essentially has the same for security updates:: https://ubuntu.com/#:~:text=10%20year%20security%20maintenance%20and%20CVE%20Patching ::

Full disclosure:

The modem software may actually work however I haven't gotten it to work and have asked EpicDev to test on their side.
