Hi again,
I mis-labeled the Issue as 03 rather than 02 but was able to edit the issue title ("edit" button on the right side of the title) and also edit the text in that first comment above (3 dots > Edit at the top right of the comment). You'll also see that just above this comment, there is a note that I changed the title of the issue.
Note that you're only able to edit an issue that you have permission to edit (i.e. you can't edit other people's issues) but you can comment.
I changed my calendar event for co-working to just a regular meeting. This new link should work so folks can add all my co-working times to their calendar: https://calendar.google.com/event?action=TEMPLATE&tmeid=N245bTZiajMzdTFkbGhndnBhZ2N1amtiZTJfMjAyMjAyMDlUMjIwMDAwWiBqb3NoLmxvbmRvbkBub2FhLmdvdg&tmsrc=josh.london%40noaa.gov&scp=ALL

Hi @Openscapes/2022-noaa-afsc-team @Openscapes/2022-noaa-afsc-assist,
Thanks for a great second session last Friday. We stepped into the [largely] unknown last week with our GitHub clinic. We'll continue practicing by posting the Digests as GitHub Issues - please feel free to comment (remembering that this is a public thread) (Note: I mis-labeled the Issue as 03 rather than 02 but was able to edit the issue title ("edit" button on the right side of the title) and also edit the text in this comment (3 dots > Edit at the top right of this comment)). Below is a light digest of Call 02. This week we will be slowing down and zooming out a little bit.
This Friday (Feb 11) we will talk about strategies for data management. Special guest Ileana Fenwick will give a brief talk on “Data Strategies for Future Us” and we will discuss as a group. We’ll also talk about team culture and creating an inclusive environment for research teams.
On Wednesday Feb 9, from 1-2 PM PST: Gavin Fay will be giving an AFSC seminar about how he has implemented some of the open data science approaches with his lab at UMass Dartmouth. See image below!
If you want some more time to practice with GitHub, come to co-working to screenshare, explore, practice, and address questions (times and link below).
See you on Friday if not before,
Julie, Megsie, Josh, and Em
