Per our discussions on DAAS branch repositories vs organizations, etc (I'm not well versed)...

@eeholmes has created a NMFS Openscapes page with an in progress SEFSC cohort description that we've been editing here.

The Caribbean Strategic Planning Organization by @AdyanRios-NOAA, @RachelEckley-NOAA, and others has great potential for our purposes. (I can't find a link at this time, but we went through it during a co-working session.)

I really like the way these both look and am interested in using these tools more effectively! I think something to consider is not spreading everything out too much, making it difficult to keep track of. Consolidation is key IMO, especially starting out. I'm looking forward to discussing these pros/cons at our next Seaside Chat!

The Caribbean Strategic Planning repo can be found here.

For everyone to think about....

Data Analysis and Assessment Support Organization

Admin repo (branch business)

Fishery Dependent Indices- Commercial handline repo

Fishery Dependent Indices- MRIP repo

Length and Age Compositions repo

....etc etc

None of the repositories on that organization are public @vmatter-NOAA . Maybe we can get a demo? I like the end goal of all SEFSC repos being under the SEFSC organization, with DAAS specific ones names as such (e.g. SFD-DAAS-LengthAgeComps). I'm not sure we'd need much beyond the Admin repo, which we could just make a private repository within SEFSC if we didn't want any input from others at the Science Center. Currently, I'm leaning more open within SEFSC and not making a separate DAAS Organization, but maybe I just can't see the pros right now!
