Mozilla Connection Grant Cohort Call 1, Jan 30

Hi Ileana! It was a nice call, grantees from all over the world saying hello with the ice breaker “if we were in person, what snack would you bring?” (great roll call to reuse!) Folks from South Africa said Rooibos tea, a Slovenian living in Sweden said his favorite sweet cake, folks from Mexico City a cheese speciality, someone originally from Louisiana with a French/creole dish. Really lovely. We went into breakout rooms to connect further and share more details about projects. Mozilla pre-set the attendees. They’ll host “open cohort calls - monthly, unstructured, optional” that I’ll continue to go to and you’re welcome to! Very cool to meet people and also get ideas for light touches for Pathways/Openscapes community building.
